The Alexis clutch bag is a medium-sized clutch bag made of textured eco-leather. Created for the GIUSTINA ROCCA award, in which three young lawyers who have dealt with "Gender Equality and Violence against Women" will be awarded. A Judging Committee composed of university professors, magistrates and lawyers was chosen. All participants, who will be present in Trani on 25 May 2024, will be given clutch bags also for participation only.

Giustina Rocca is considered the first lawyer in history thanks to an arbitration award rendered on 8 April 1500 in the context of a dispute that she had been tasked with resolving. At the court of the Venetian governor of Trani, Giustina Rocca pronounces the arbitration award in the vernacular - rather than in Latin according to the customs of the time - to make it understandable to the public who came to witness the pronouncement. She then summons the losing party to pay her the usual fees, thus underlining, in an era in which women had no access to either education or the practice of legal professions, her desire to be treated on an equal footing with men who had such prerogatives.
By dedicating its tallest tower to Giustina Rocca in 2022, next to the Comenius and Montesquieu (lawyer) Towers, the Court of Justice of the European Union recalls its attachment to accessibility to law and justice by all and reiterates, making echoes its jurisprudence, its commitment to equal opportunities.
The idea of establishing a prize in memory and in homage to the Tranese jurist, lawyer and arbitrator of the 16th century, was born within the Lions Club Trani 'Ordinamenta Maris' which, together with the Lions District 108AB Puglia and the Multiple District Lions 108 Italy, with the patronage of the National Forensic Council, the Puglia Region PACT, the Province of Barletta Andria Trani, the Municipality of Trani, the University of the Law Firms of Bari and the Bar Association of Trani, the latter also acting as co-organiser of the event, in collaboration with Giurispedia and the Duepuntozero publishing house, have announced the first edition of the 2023-2024 Award.
